Kalu's second chance at life

Hit by a scooter and left at the side of Hoshangabad Road, Kalu was three days from giving up when our team found him.
Kalu was a four-year-old indie dog left for dead on a busy Bhopal road. Our rapid-response team drove out to bring him in. Six months of rehabilitation later, he now lives in our open-grass cage-free shelter at Bhadbhada Ghat — running freely, sleeping on a real bed, surrounded by humans who never raise their voice.
